KIT+ GIST Symptoms
Symptoms of KIT+ GIST
Identifying KIT–positive gastrointestinal stromal tumor (KIT+ GIST) is not easy because of the lack of symptoms in the early stages of the disease.
Some of the symptoms that occur in the later stages include vague abdominal pain, an early feeling of fullness (satiety), vomiting, abdominal bleeding (blood in stool or vomit), and fatigue due to anemia (low blood counts).
Many of these symptoms can also result from a wide range of common, less serious conditions; but if you are experiencing any of the above-mentioned symptoms, you should talk to your doctor about the possibility of KIT+ GIST and together you can determine the next step.
